Double Bridge Spouted Jar

This jar is a hierarchical arrangement of motifs. On one side of the jar is a stylized ocelot's head and on the other is a standing helmeted figure, probably a warrior. Various mask-like forms arranged in a grid fill in the areas between the major motifs. The wide range of color and the highly burnished surface of the vessel common to Nazca ceramics, is readily apparent in this vessel.
